About Us

At Perseverance Youth, we believe every young athlete deserves the chance to pursue their potential—regardless of financial barriers. Founded by Courtney and Jennifer Samuel, our nonprofit builds on years of service in the Denver community through youth training, mentorship, and athletic development.

As lifelong coaches, mentors, and community leaders, Courtney and Jennifer have worked with hundreds of student-athletes, teaching not only physical performance but also discipline, teamwork, and resilience. Perseverance Youth is the next chapter in that journey—dedicated to making professional-level training and mentorship accessible to all.

Scholarship Program

Not every family can afford elite training programs. That’s why Perseverance Youth established the Athlete Scholarship Program.

This fund ensures that promising young athletes—whether from underserved neighborhoods, first-generation families, or simply those in financial need—have the opportunity to join training sessions, mentorship programs, and personal development workshops without cost being a barrier.

Your donations directly support scholarships for:

  • Strength & conditioning programs

  • Skill-specific athletic training

  • Leadership & mentorship workshops

  • Academic and career guidance for student-athletes

Every contribution helps a youth athlete step onto the field, into the gym, and toward a brighter future.

Why give?

  • Break Barriers
Your gift provides access for athletes who otherwise couldn’t afford training, ensuring talent and potential are never limited by financial hardship.

  • Build Leaders
Our programs go beyond athletics. We train young people to lead—with discipline, teamwork, and resilience they can carry into school, careers, and community life.

  • Strengthen Communities
Every athlete we mentor becomes a role model. By investing in one student-athlete, you impact their peers, their family, and their future contributions to society.
